Excuse me, but I'm not particularly in favour of another repetitive strip celebrating Christopher Columbus… - 1/6
This has to be the, what, third strip (?!) that is basically the exact same thing… it's either about Clumbus' egg story (the boys have played with this trick so many times…) or about his so-called prowess as a discoverer. - 2/6
Flip's "prophetic" speech in panel 5 about the way he will be remembered rings particularly empty given the recent conversations about Columbus and his legacy. - 3/6
Ultimately, I don't find much even worth commenting on here… The diptych image created by panels 8 & 9 is an interesting choice (especially because it is so isolated and miniature), but, again, it's overshadowed by it’s content. - 4/6
