What a pleasant surprise! Our favourite cast of Slumberland characters (Candy Kid, Dr. Pill, and the Princess) are all back! Thank goodness, Flip didn't melt them for good! - 1/10

I love the way that this strip recalls all of the previous "get to Slumberland" strips that occurred near the beginning of the series! The Candy Kid arrives in Nemo's room to whisk him away to the palace by way of a magical entry in his home! - 2/10

I found it greatly affective and made me feel really nostalgic! I've enjoyed some of the recent strips (#WalkingBedWeek in particular), but making our way into Slumberland again (after such a long break) was so enjoyable! - 3/10

In fact, this strip brings back many of the tropes from the early strips! Attempting to elude Flip, the Princess' excitement at being united with Nemo, and even her dismay when things don't go the way she intended. - 4/10

Impie is, of course, a new addition here because he wasn't a part of the strip back when we were seeing these tropes regularly. That he gets lumped in with Flip isn't surprising, unfortunately… - 5/10

The centrepiece of this strip is obviously the staircase hidden behind Nemo's family fireplace. It's reminiscent of strip #6 (Nov. 19, 1905) when the pathway to Slumberland was behind one of the family curtains: - 6/10 [INSERT IMAGE]

It leads us into the brilliance of the Slumberland palace where the Princess and company are waiting for us! Again, it reminds us of all the wonderful sights we've been missing since we last saw Slumberland! - 7/10

Though it's not a world-shattering comic strip, it comes at a really good time to draw the readers attention to what this strip has been and contrast it with what it's been lately. - 8/10

The nostalgia and reminiscence that it evokes in the reader really moved me and forced me to remember so many passed experiences that, in light of recent strips, I had allowed to fall into the back of my memory. I'm glad they were brought to the forefront with this one! - 9/10

This is my reading of "Little Nemo in Slumberland" #158. What's yours? - 10/10
